Study on the changes that the EU Regulation 650/2012 has caused in the complex Spanish law of succession. The most relevant ones are: the "professio iuris", the criteria to determine the habitual residence and the equality of Notaries to Judges as competent authorities to issue the European Certificate of Succession. Finally, a presentation is made of the Resolutions issued up to the date of delivery of the contribution of the General Directorate of Registers and Notaries (Ministry of Justice).
