The objective of this chapter is to present the lessons learned from the ‘International Module of Universidad Isalud’ (IMUI). This is a one week academic activity abroad of a group of master course students in Health Economics and in Heath Systems from the University Isalud at Buenos Aires-Argentina that began in 1997 with a coordinating professor. The chapter will describe the whole process of the preparation and development of the academic activities. On the academic side, a meeting between the University authorities and the coordinating professor defines the selection of the city and country to be visited. The selection process considers Health Economics and Health Systems topics and also the institutional agreements developed by the University in the area. After that, an opening call is made to the master course students. On the administrative side, the coordinating professor develops the schedule of the academic and social activities, considering the academic topics to be covered.
